July makes me think about vacation...pt 2

So when we landed in AZ, we went to visit all of our family first. We didn't go sight seeing right away, but if you've ever been to AZ you'll know that the whole state is a sight to see (see what I did there:D)! Here are a couple shots I got on Day 1!
This is the view from one of the back yards! Could you imagine waking up to this EVERY DAY?!!
Now prepare your self for a bunch of photos because in my next post I will show you guys the photos I took on our travels through the mountains!! It's seriously one of those things you have to experience on your own. It doesn't matter how many photos you take or changing the setting on your camera, the only way to capture the pure beauty of these place is to visit them in real life. If you ever have enough money for a plan ticket anywhere, GO WEST!!!!

DISNEY WORLD!! Thank you Orlando, Florida for your blistering hot days, sunshine, and down pour! I wouldn't have traded that experience for anything else! (Almost) my entire family went to Disney over Fall break and needless it say, IT WAS AMAZING! It was like being a kid all over again! Louisville flood of 2018

For the past few days, we have been under a Flash Flood Warning. The Ohio River has been rising. This is not an unusual thing that happens in Louisville because the river tends to overflow. However, they are calling this the worst flood Louisville has seen in over 20 years. With the rain that we got Saturday, 2/24/2018, the river rose 20 feet above normal levels. I was able to go out and see the damage. Now I do not remember the flood of 97 because I was 3 years old, but what I saw was pretty devastating . People's homes were engulfed in water, their back yards covered. Some houses are on high rises, so they are semi-prepared for this. However, if they were in their homes, they had to have been stranded. There was no way they could get out unless it was by boat. The photos below were taken with my phone, because I did not plan on going out. Nevertheless, I am glad I did. Family photos with a toddler

Who ever said that would be easy!! This was my first gig at taking family photos. Of course I picked the 'good' ones to show you guys, but I probably took about 100. The toddler definitely ran the whole session. Needless to say, it was very much fun working with this family. Plus this day was a beautiful day for a walk in the park!
